BROOK KAPUKUNIAHI PARKER

Brook Kapūkuniahi Parker is a distinguished Native Hawaiian (kānaka maoli) multidisciplinary artist, historian, and genealogist hailing from Kahalu‘u, O‘ahu. He descends from the lineage of John Palmer Parker, founder of Parker Ranch, and Rachael Keli‘ikipikanekaolohaka Ohiaku, great-granddaughter of Kamehameha I.
Deeply influenced by his father—an artist, historian, and genealogist—Brook has cultivated a lifelong passion for honoring kūpuna (ancestors) and Hawaiian moʻolelo (stories) through his art.
Working full-time across mediums—from oil and acrylic to pen-and-ink—Brook’s artwork brings ancestral figures and Hawaiian chiefs to life with reverence and historical accuracy. His works have been featured widely, including in children’s books for ʻAha Pūnana Leo, galleries at Manoa Falls, Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park, Disney’s Aulani Resort, and commissioned artist for Apple TV Series & global sensation Chief of War ; his legacy also includes contributions to notable publications like Ruling Chiefs of Hawaii.
As both an artist and educator, Brook continues to share deeper genealogical and cultural knowledge—ensuring that Hawaiian history, mana, and identity remain vibrantly alive for future generations.
